Powerful Bacteria Action                                                                                                                                 Acts as barley straw but with many times the strength and with rapid action - no waiting for weeks to see results.  Hydras products provides effective control for a broad spectrum of algae, including stubborn blanket weed and string algae.  Use in all water features including water gardens, fountains and bird-baths.

Algae Toxins                                                                                                                                                           Hydra products are used to eliminate the toxins produced by blue / green algae that presents risks to humans and animals.  Elimination of blue / green algae is aesthetically important for lakes and ponds in residential areas and on golf courses.

Multiple: length x width x depth in metres to give number of cubic metres. One cubic metre = 1,000 litres.
For example; 4.8 metres long x 3.2 metres wide x 1.2 metres deep = 18.432 cubic metres = 18,432 litres.
1 acre-foot of water = 208.7 ft long x 208.7 ft wide x1 ft deep, = 43.560 cubic ft (1,233 cubic metres). 
 

Green Water Treatments                                                                                                                                Many filter systems have a larger pore size than the treated green water particles, therefore they do not trap the particles efficently.                                                                                                                                        We highly recommend that you increase the efficency of your filter by adding a layer of Hydra Pond Filter Pad to your existing filter box this will filter down to 20 microns.  When pad is dirty simply wash under tap, wring to remove water and refit in filter box.                                                                                                                      In our own koi water tanks we do not use a filter but simply rely on a layer of Hydra Pond Filter Pad in a box this keeps this water crystal clear without spending hundreds of ponds on filtration systems.  You simply cut filter pad to your filter boxes size and shape.  It is only £12.45 for a one metre square inclusive of VAT.
